Sharing Your Progress
When you’re ready (no pressure at all), you’ll notice a couple spots on the side: the Community Lounge and Post Your Progress.
That’s where you can introduce yourself, connect with others, share your progress, or just see what everyone else is up to.
You’re totally welcome to keep things focused and just ask me questions — but if you ever feel like being a bit more social, those spaces are always open.

Our Moderator: Chris Robinson
Seen Chris around the studio? Here’s his story.
Chris Robinson is a long-time GoodGuitarist student and community moderator who’s been part of the studio for several years.
Chris is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, and like many veterans, he’s faced both mental health (PTSD) and physical health challenges after his service. Learning guitar became a meaningful part of his recovery — something that gave him structure, focus, and a reason to keep showing up each day.
Chris started his guitar journey through Guitar for Veterans Canada, where he received his first instrument through a donation program. Guitar quickly became part of his daily life — something he practices every day, and often shares with others.
He’s a big believer in structured learning and has worked closely with James throughout the beginner course, asking questions, staying consistent, and putting the lessons into practice. Over time, he naturally became someone who helped welcome new members and point people in the right direction inside the studio.
You’ll see Chris around from time to time offering encouragement or helping people navigate the platform. He’s here as a fellow student who understands the journey — not as an instructor — and we’re grateful for the care and time he’s given to the community over the years.
